Didn't make it to the Tiki party last night, but next week is a distinct possibility. I'm in tonight, too - EN has a guest over so I'm taking call, and breaking in Oona at the same time.
It was very difficult leaving the bed this morning. Ol' Newtie was especially snugglesome, and the hen house doesn't seem so appealing as hiding under the covers.

speaking of videos - 622 music videos. Beastie boys is a guilty pleasure. Body Movin' and Intergalactic? Please. I'm going to be saying "Another Dimension" over and over again all morning, now.

In a story in the current issue of Cell, scientists report that they can control fruit-flies remotely -- by shooting lasers at their neurons. Cool enough, but then they tore the heads off a few flies, and found they were still able to stimulate the remaining neurons -- and even induce them to fly.
