The swamp here is many things to the local fauna. A playground for possums. A community center for squirrels. A makeshift delivery room for local teens who were otherwise just looking to smoke some weed in peace, away from the heavy foot traffic of the boardwalk.
Temperatures back up to the mid 40s. There may be snow later in the week, but for now it is balmy, and the creatures are out in force.
