Astonishing Tales #5 (Lieber/Tuska, Apr 1971). I don’t understand why the Red Skull thought conquering Doctor Doom’s country was a good idea. It’s a tiny nation, it’s unclear if they have any remarkable resources, its citizens have been oppressed… and when you pass through customs, you’re gonna piss off an A-list supervillain who dabbles in science AND magic. What was the plan here?!
