Starting on Netflix’s Wednesday

Watching first episode, Gomez seems to lack the enthusiasm and warmth I associate with other tv and movie appearances of the character.

Wednesday, seems more hostile than clever, but it can chalked up to the show’s premise. I did like the cello “paint it black” bit.

Thing, well animated, but not crazy about the Frankenstein stitches makeover.

I’ll keep watching, I think it has potential outside the initial pilot-itis.

Update, episode 2 is much more engaging. It’ll survive the three strikes rule, I think.
